Roger Heim was born on April 26, 1974 in Jenaz/GR.

He was enthusiastic for music at quite an early age. Roger was mainly interested in the piano.

At the age of 12, when he sat in front of a drum set the first time, he immediately fell in love.

He bought his very own first drum set when he was 15 and has played in various bands and orchestras ever since. His first musical influences were Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Queen, Jean Michel Jarre, Sade, police and many more. Later he found his interest in bands like fates warning, Dream Theater, Symphony X, which aroused his interest for harder music.
